Other animals...
Here at Tussilago we are totally animal mad! Between myself and my partner we have kept a huge array of weird and wonderful creatures. We have kept dogs (obviously!), cats, rats, mice, gerbils, bearded dragons, various snakes, frogs, birds, fish (including some very large ones!), quail, chickens, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, sugar gliders and many more species of animal.
Currently, other than the more farmyard types, we have...
Mika
The half siamese half wit.
Hilarious to watch but he's a danger to himself...
Fishy
Lilac point siamese, she is very loving and likes nothing more than to fall asleep on the sofa. Best mates with Mika and Cole, loves to cause mayhem with Mika.
Rufus
Rufus is a red point siamese.
Hes very extrovert and super friendly. He loves nothing better than to talk to you and give you kisses, hes a bit of a mummys boy too!
The Guinea Pigs...
Solly the Jackdaw
Solly was raised from a chick by a lady who rehomed him to someone she thought was suitable.
Unfortunately they knew nothing about the crow family and he was under fed on a diet of budgie food, not given enough mental stimulation (they are as intelligent as a parrot) and had one of his wings cut in half to stop him flying away.
Thankfully they realised he wasnt for them and took him back to the lady. She in turn rehomed him to us.
He now gets fed a wide variety of food, lots of stimulation and is now very tame, inviting you to scratch the back of his neck for him. He's a great mimic and likes to say "Oi!", "what?" and "meow!".
He likes to make lots of noise and loves to 'shout' at the birds in the garden. He is also an expert vandal and loves nothing more than to make a mess!
